From our beginnings under old oak trees to the structure you see today, Mount Olivet United Methodist Church has been holding services continuously on this site since 1803. A wood frame church was built in 1870. In 1915, the first brick structure was erected with additions and renovations made throughout the years. Many things have changed through the years, but there is one constant – our devotion to the Lord, our sense of love for church family, and our desire to do God’s work.
